We are excited to have you as part of our music education program. Our mission is to provide free, high-quality music education to local children through weekly classes, allowing students to explore their musical talents.

Program Details & Expectations
Each student is expected to attend all weekly classes unless there is an emergency. Instruments will be provided by Big Water Creative Arts, and proper care and handling of these instruments is essential.
Attendance Policy
Students must commit to attending all sessions. If a student cannot attend, advance notice should be provided.
Class Cancellations
If school is cancelled due to inclement weather or any other reason, Big Water Creative Arts classes will also be cancelled. We will attempt to notify students and parents of any cancellations. Make-up classes may be scheduled, when possible, but attendance for make-up days is not mandatory.
Instrument Care
Instruments provided must be handled with care. Damages due to negligence may result in repair costs.
Behavior Expectations
Students are expected to respect instructors, peers, and the equipment. Disruptive behavior may result in dismissal from the program.
Student Showcase
At the end of the program, each student is expected to participate in a student showcase. This event will take place at Crooked Tree Arts Center in late April. Participation in the showcase is an important part of the program and offers students the opportunity to present what they have learned. Details regarding the date and time of the showcase will be provided in advance.
Instrument Checkout
If your child will be borrowing an instrument from Big Water Creative Arts, please review the following conditions:
Instrument Responsibility
The instrument loaned to your child is the property of Big Water Creative Arts. By checking out an instrument, you agree that it will be used and stored properly. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear due to negligence may result in repair or replacement costs.
Loan Period
Instruments are to be returned at the end of the program or as requested by Big Water Creative Arts.Should the program be discontinued early for any reason, all loaned instruments must be returned within 7 days.
Loss or Theft:
In the event of loss or theft of the instrument, you must notify Big Water Creative Arts immediately. You may be held responsible for the cost of replacing the instrument if negligence is determined.
